Thank you to the '2020' memes that acted as an unconscious coping mechanism. But really it sucked. A wave of global grief

Let's Be Real - no one want's to talk about this past year. We don't want to speak, see, think about the events that made this year go by so dreadfully slow yet so devastatingly fast. I've tried to specify a single term that successfully describes the

overall tone of this year and I still sit here in the 12th month of 2020 blank-minded. Maybe because there were far too many varied feelings felt and notions held that jut don't solidify into one central word.

 

And no matter what, life didn't slow.

Life carried on. 

How can happiness exist in such a confusing and helpless state? How is smiling ok to do when lives keep passing at the
